crossflow cooling tower

Crossflow cooling towers distribute the hot water perpendicularly to the air flow. Water flows from the top of the cooling tower through the hot water gravity distribution basin and into the fill while the cooling tower fan draws air horizontally across the fill. The cross-flow cooling tower means that the water flows vertically from the upper part of the tower, and the air flows horizontally through the water. A cooling tower with a mixture of gas and water flow.
